People who know more than one language are benefited in many ways.

A polyglot is a person who knows more than 3 languages. Once if we get fluent in 2 languages, automatically we can learn the other language easily by knowing the root or by practicing with the native speakers.

For instance, few companies like Volkswagen, L’oreal in India have their headquarters in Germany and France. So, if you know the German language or the French language, you will be the most important person in those particular companies. These are just simple examples.
